- I'm a proponent of open source
software and NetBSD,
specifically.
- I'm collecting information about
DG AViiON
systems for, perhaps, an eventual NetBSD port.
- I graduated from a pretty cool high
school in North Carolina a long time ago in galaxy far away.
- I also read almost everything I can get my hands on, but I usually
get my hands of S.F. My favorite authors are hard to pick, but I like
Iain M. Banks, Pat Murphy, Melissa Scott, Sheri Tepper, Joan Slonczewski,
Isaac Asimov, Greg Bear, Neal Stephenson, Kim Stanley Robinson,
and many others...
- I was raised as a Quaker,
which is rather different from a Shaker, and I've gotten involved
with the local Meeting in Blacksburg and Baltimore Yearly Meeting.
- I have worked for RRI,
Wasabi Systems, and
Zetera Corporation.
